Our Team – Dr. Friederike Storch

Expert in political strategies and bridge builder with an analytical perspective

As a Senior Consultant, Friederike combines analytical acumen with strategic intuition, bringing people, ideas and interests together in a constructive manner.

With a PhD in sociology and a love of data, patterns and relationships, she makes sense of complicated political connections, always focusing on the goal.

Her many years of experience in the political arena in Berlin have shaped her understanding of political processes, as well as her ability to translate them precisely for clients. Most recently, she was head of department at a nationwide umbrella organisation, where she was responsible for political advocacy. Prior to that, she worked in the German Bundestag and in companies and think tanks, always in political roles.

As a self-confessed politics nerd with a particular interest in defence issues, she is passionate about strategy and tactics. She develops visionary and impactful public affairs strategies and oversees projects from initial conception to targeted implementation. Her training as a mediator has given her a keen eye for nuances and details. And as a true people person, she builds bridges by networking, translating and creating spaces where cooperation succeeds.

When she is not busy with politics, Friederike loves architecture – from the Art Deco in Brussels to the Brutalism of Berlin – and singing. She is also one of the few people who, despite everything, loves travelling with Deutsche Bahn.
