Livia Hartmann

Livia Hartmann supports zoonpolitikon as an Analyst.

She contributes to public affairs and political strategy projects through research, political monitoring, and analysis. In addition, she supports the preparation of briefings, tracks legislative and policy developments, and assists with stakeholder mapping to inform effective engagement strategies.

Livia is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Affairs at Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Bologna, Italy, with a focus on international security as well as technology and innovation. She previously completed a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and spent semesters at Korea University in Seoul, South Korea, and at Sciences Po Paris.

Livia has gained practical experience at the Technology Program of the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), where she worked on international digital policy. Her particular interests lie at the intersection of technology and global security, as well as in Europe’s role in a changing geopolitical order.
