Our Team – Louise Camier

Louise turns regulatory complexity into political strategies

Louise works at the intersection of political communication and strategic advocacy, with a particular focus on regulatory developments. She supports clients in making sense of legislative initiatives, assessing their implications and developing appropriate public affairs responses. This work draws on thorough knowledge of legislative processes at both European and national level.

Louise gained much of her practical experience in the energy sector at Linklaters LLP within the energy law team, and at the Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility, where she worked on questions of public policy, governance and regulation. Both roles deepened her understanding of how law, politics and commercial interests interact in a heavily regulated environment.

Louise completed her legal studies through the European Law School programme, studying at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas and the Universiteit van Amsterdam. Her academic focus was on European and comparative law, as well as multi-level decision-making processes.

Outside work, she dances ballet, reads widely – and has perfected the New York cheesecake.
