Ralf brings clarity to complex political contexts – and delivers impact where decisions are made: in Brussels, Berlin, and at the intersections of business, technology, and regulation.

A fully qualified lawyer with a Master’s degree in European Law (LL.M., University of Nottingham) and two decades of experience in EU and national legislation, market regulation, competition policy, and public affairs, he advises with a clear objective: to make political complexity manageable and to shape opportunities strategically.
Most recently, Ralf served as Director of External Affairs, leading a team responsible for the political positioning of an MDAX-listed pan-European company in the context of digital infrastructure expansion and corporate growth strategy.

Before that, he spent many years with a global telecommunications provider in Brussels and Düsseldorf, working across telecommunications, digital policy, media, and competition – including as Senior EU Affairs Advisor on key European legislative processes and as a strategic advisor to executives on regulatory matters.

Ralf is a skilled networker, clear communicator, and sharp observer of political dynamics. He serves as a bridge between business and politics, applying a strategic, interest-driven approach to consulting: solution-oriented, well-founded, and based on dialogue – always focused on what matters most to his clients: success in the political arena.

Ralf is married and the father of three children. A committed European with a passion for travel, history and music, his heart belongs to German football club 1. FC Köln – an emotional rollercoaster he has willingly been riding since childhood.
